Smetky terms of service
Simple rules for a shared cash ledger.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
By creating or using a Smetky account, you agree to use the service lawfully and to keep the information you record accurate enough for the people who rely on your workspace.
1. What Smetky provides
Smetky provides a shared ledger for recording cash in, cash out, descriptions, private notes, proof files, and private voice notes. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your username, PIN, and optional recovery email accurate and confidential. Do not share your personal login. A workspace owner may remove your access to a company workspace, but cannot take ownership of your personal account.
3. Workspace content
You must have the right to upload receipts, documents, images, and recordings. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or sensitive material that your workspace is not authorised to handle. Workspace owners are responsible for deciding who can access shared records.
4. Plans and trials
Free access is available subject to the limits shown on the Smetky pricing page. Pro trials are 14 days at $3 per account per month after the trial. Business trials are 14 days at $5 per seat per month after the trial. Payment processing is not yet enabled; no paid charge is taken during this preview period. We will show the final billing terms before enabling payment.
5. Account deletion
You can delete your account from the account menu. Your profile, login credentials, sessions, and access are removed immediately. Shared ledger entries may remain with an anonymised “Deleted user” author so other workspace members can retain an accurate record. Workspace-owned proof files and records remain under the workspace owner’s control.
6. Availability and changes
We may improve, suspend, or change the service. We will not intentionally change the core ledger meaning without communicating the change. Keep your own exports for records you must retain.
7. Contact
For account, privacy, or deletion questions, contact the Smetky operator through the support channel provided with your deployment.
If these terms conflict with mandatory consumer or data-protection law that applies to you, that law takes precedence.
